Hotel Pension Museum - Vienna

We loved the location, right across from the tube station, made exploring the city and its sights super easy. The breakfast was a good treat, with fresh breads and local cheeses, and we even managed to find time to visit the beautiful Christmas markets nearby while staying with my cousin.

In my wife's opinion, the washroom could use a bit more space for families.

All in all we liked huge room with good shower, lovely bathroom, for example. Location: the hotel was close enough to Volkstheater, most museums and the Burgtheater, the other attractions-The Rathaus, the Hofburg palace, and Landstrasse. Cafe Demel located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

The staff once helped me with an insect bite, and they even prepared me a sandwich for an early departure. Highly recommend!

The location is unbeatable, just minutes from public transport and several museums. The rooms lack modern amenities like air conditioning and the soundproofing could be better. Breakfast included tasty coffee, though I expected a wider variety of food options.

The fridge lights up the room at night and can be quite noisy. Limited breakfast options can leave you wanting more, and you must ring a bell to gain entry for breakfast. The lack of air conditioning can, especially with a loud fan for circulation.

Room lacked AC, and I was really uncomfortable at night.

Ideal for couples

The building has this classic art deco vibe, and our room was super clean! The staff? Super friendly. We even got a lovely surprise for our friend's wedding, all the way from the setup to the gorgeous details. It was like they really cared about making our stay special!

It wasn't the cheapest option, but honestly, it was still pretty acceptable.

Wi-fi was great, but the tv barely worked. Cots are available for kids, though.

The room was spacious with high ceilings, really giving it a nice vibe. The shower had awesome pressure, great after a long day. I loved the little fridge for keeping drinks cold. The view from the room and balcony was a nice surprise too! Just a bummer that there was no AC, and the fan was kinda loud at night.

The spacious room had modern decor, and I was kinda surprised to receive a double room at the price of a single. The breakfast spread was another highlight, with a good selection of cheeses and freshly baked bread. Getting to the reception requires a bit of a carry up one flight of stairs, which could be improved.

I stayed here for a conference and I am glad I did! The owner was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are large and nicely furnished. Finally, the location cannot be beaten -- it is quiet and relaxed while being only a few minutes walk from the Museum Quarter and the City Center.
